Overview

Novotech is a leading global Contract Research Organization (CRO) providing clinical development and scientific advisory services. The organization is seeking an Investigator Grant Specialist to support clinical project teams in managing investigator payments, grant development, and site budget processes.

This role requires close collaboration with Project Management and Clinical Operations teams to ensure accurate budgeting, timely site payments, and compliance with global clinical research standards. The position is ideal for professionals with strong analytical skills and experience in clinical trial financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage investigator payment processes, including tracking, reviewing, and processing site payments using CTMS systems

  • Ensure timely and accurate payments aligned with investigator contracts and subject visit data

  • Develop and maintain investigator grants using standard systems such as Grant Plan

  • Collaborate with project teams to prepare and deliver site budget templates within timelines

  • Review and validate site payment reports to ensure accuracy before processing

  • Communicate effectively with Project Managers regarding payment queries and issue resolution

  • Escalate payment delays or discrepancies to appropriate stakeholders

  • Support subject visit tracking (SVT) setup and management in CTMS

  • Create and manage site-specific and master SVT templates based on study requirements

  • Prepare investigator payment reports for study status meetings

  • Assist in budget forecasting and apply fair market value principles

  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure audit readiness of all payment and grant activities

  • Coordinate with vendors for system-related queries and manage user access

  • Participate in SOP development and continuous process improvements

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of clinical trial processes and investigator payment workflows

  • Hands-on experience with CTMS systems such as Veeva

  • Familiarity with Grant Plan and subject visit tracking (SVT)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Team-oriented with a proactive and solution-driven mindset

Experience Required

  • Minimum 12–36 months of experience in a Clinical Research Organization (CRO), pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry

  • Prior experience in investigator payments, grants management, or clinical finance operations is preferred
