Position: Lead, Integrated Customer Planning (ICP)

Location:

Burlington, Ontario, Canada (Flexible - Minimum 50% in-office requirement)

Position Summary:

The Lead, Integrated Customer Planning (ICP) is responsible for leading a cross-functional team to develop and execute Integrated Customer Plans (ICPs) for brands, patients, and specific customer segments. The role ensures alignment with corporate Integrated Business Plans (IBPs) and strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities include translating ICPs into omnichannel campaigns, developing content, leading communications, and optimizing digital marketing strategies. The role also monitors brand performance and contributes to cross-functional strategies to achieve commercial success.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Mindset & Integrated Customer Planning:

  • Lead the development of ICPs to achieve strategic and commercial objectives.

  • Ensure alignment with global strategies and corporate IBPs.

  • Incorporate customer insights, analytics, and competitive intelligence into strategy development.

  • Identify relevant customer touchpoints and align tactics to create meaningful engagements.

  • Ensure cross-functional integration of campaigns across brands and channels.

2. Marketing, Omnichannel & Digital Strategy:

  • Develop and implement omnichannel marketing campaigns based on customer engagement preferences.

  • Oversee the creation and approval of content for all marketing assets, including digital, print, and promotional materials.

  • Lead digital content production across websites, social media, paid digital campaigns, apps, and other digital channels.

  • Collaborate with the Omnichannel Manager to align digital campaigns with earned media strategies.

  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-launch campaign evaluations.

  • Explore opportunities for innovation in digital channels and customer engagement.

3. Leadership, Communication & Coaching:

  • Effectively communicate brand strategies and campaign details to cross-functional teams.

  • Develop integrated Plan of Action (POA) playbooks and guide campaign execution.

  • Work closely with vendors, agencies, and external partners.

  • Act as a mentor and coach, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.

  • Serve as a backup for the Marketing Director when needed.

4. Customer Focus & Business Insights:

  • Utilize market research, analytics, and advisory boards to understand customer needs.

  • Conduct direct customer engagement through field visits, qualitative research, and digital insights.

  • Co-create value-added services and materials to enhance the customer experience.

  • Lead performance review meetings to assess campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

5. Execution & Performance Monitoring:

  • Establish key performance metrics to evaluate campaign success.

  • Support forecasting and data analysis for business performance updates.

  • Monitor product, competitor, and campaign performance to ensure alignment with commercial goals.

  • Manage budget allocation and resource optimization for marketing initiatives.

  • Develop contingency plans to mitigate potential challenges and risks.


Requirements:

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

  • Industry Experience: At least 7+ years in the pharmaceutical industry, including 3+ years in marketing.

  • Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Campaigns: Minimum 1 year of experience in pharma or consumer-packaged goods (CPG) industries.

  • Digital & Omnichannel Expertise: Experience in digital marketing, omnichannel strategies, and content creation.

  • Forecasting & Analytics: Strong understanding of data-driven decision-making and campaign optimization.

  • Lifecycle Management: Experience managing all phases of the product lifecycle, including launches.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Proven ability to manage teams, budgets, and strategic initiatives.

  • Bilingual (French/English): An asset but not required.
