This internship offers students an opportunity to gain hands-on experience within Medical Affairs, contributing to high-impact learning and development initiatives that support scientific training across the organization.


Role Overview

The Intern – Medical Affairs (Medical Excellence Learning & Development) will support scientific training operations, content development, learning system testing, and training logistics. This role provides exposure to Medical Affairs functions and real-world experience in a fast-paced, global pharmaceutical environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and organizing materials for scientific, technical, and skills-based training programs.

  • Review and proofread training content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and quality.

  • Support testing and validation of training modules within the Learning Management System (LMS).

  • Coordinate logistics for virtual and in-person training sessions including scheduling and communication.

  • Draft clear instructional documents and communication materials for learners.

  • Track training progress and maintain accurate project documentation.

  • Collect, compile, and organize participant feedback.

  • Assist in developing surveys, assessments, and quizzes to measure training effectiveness.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners when required.

  • Perform general support tasks for the Learning & Development team.

  • Deliver a final project presentation at the end of the internship.


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 18 years of age.

  • Minimum GPA of 2.8.

  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship (or via CPT/OPT if enrolled through a U.S. university).

  • Currently enrolled full-time in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA, PharmD, PhD program at an accredited U.S. institution.

  • Rising Sophomore, Junior, Senior, Graduate, or Doctoral student.

  • Must remain enrolled full-time for the Fall semester following the internship.

  • Ability to complete a 10–12 week internship (May–August).

  • Willingness to relocate if required and work onsite for the internship duration.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferred degree: Graduate, PhD, or PharmD.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

  • Strong writing, communication, and documentation skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Background in life sciences and readiness to learn advanced scientific topics.

  • Experience with training, teaching, or educational support.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively.

  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, inclusion, and professional integrity.

  • Highly organized with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.


Experience Required (in Years)

  • 0–1 year of relevant experience through academic projects, coursework, or training roles.

  • 1 year of experience with MS Office tools (academic or internship-based).

  • 0–2 years of exposure to life sciences, medical education, or training support (preferred but not mandatory).


Compensation and Benefits

  • Expected hourly rate: USD 19.00 – USD 55.00 (based on education level and geographic location).

  • Benefits include paid company holidays, sick time, and housing stipends for eligible interns.
