This job posting is for an Infection Preventionist at the Evergreen Center for Health & Rehabilitation, an affiliate of National Health Care Associates. The center is looking for a dedicated healthcare professional to oversee the infection control and prevention program, ensuring a safe environment for residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement infection control policies and procedures
  • Monitor infection trends and ensure compliance with health regulations
  • Lead staff education programs on infection prevention
  • Manage various health programs such as antimicrobial stewardship, employee health, and influenza prevention
  • Conduct rounds and provide oversight of infection control practices

Qualifications:

  • Valid state nursing license
  • Degree in nursing, epidemiology, biology, or microbiology
  • Infection Control and Prevention Certification required
  • Experience in long-term care or a similar healthcare setting is preferred
  • Strong clinical and communication skills
