Job Summary
Novartis is seeking a dynamic Head of Quality Assurance Operations to lead global quality strategy, operations, and PMO for its Radioligand Therapy (RLT) platform. This leadership role will align global quality initiatives with divisional and business strategies while overseeing cross-functional project teams and governance structures. Ideal for a quality-focused leader with GMP knowledge, strategic mindset, and global collaboration experience.
Key Responsibilities
Lead development and execution of global quality strategy aligned with divisional and organizational goals
Oversee governance structures, strategic pillar progress, and cross-functional project management
Manage quality communications and develop content for leadership and internal stakeholders
Provide project oversight including budget forecasting, capital expenditures, and third-party spend
Support talent development, succession planning, and organizational design initiatives
Lead major quality and operational projects and represent Global Quality in leadership forums
Collaborate across manufacturing, regulatory, and supply chain functions to ensure alignment
Travel up to 25% for global coordination and team support
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field (MS, MBA preferred)
4–7 years’ experience in pharmaceutical quality operations, manufacturing, or supply chain
Knowledge of GMP regulations and quality compliance standards
Strong leadership, governance, and project management skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience working with global teams and cross-divisional coordination
Strategic thinker with ability to manage tactical execution
