Job Description
Job Summary
Dr. Reddy’s is seeking an experienced Head of Commercial Operations for CAR T Cell Therapy to lead the strategic and operational aspects of cell therapy operations. This role will involve overseeing the entire journey of CAR T Cell therapy, ensuring a seamless, end-to-end process from patient management to logistics.
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead and manage the commercial operations for CAR T Cell Therapy and supervise a dynamic team of zonal operations coordinators.
Establish certification and documentation processes for patient case management and manage materials repositories at treatment sites to support CAR T administration.
Drive the development and implementation of in-house tech platforms to orchestrate the CAR T therapy journey.
Oversee coordination and logistics of CAR T, ensuring a smooth vein-to-vein process.
Collaborate with the tech team to develop and implement a robust process flow and SOPs.
Coordinate with manufacturing and logistics partners for the timely manufacturing, transportation, and storage of cell therapy products.
Manage the distribution of patient and site materials, including educational content, resources for coverage assistance, and staff training tools.
Work with cross-functional teams to address site-related deviations, product-specific challenges, and patient outcomes.
Establish and serve as the primary point of contact for physicians and treatment sites for escalations regarding adverse events or complaints.
Monitor KPIs and optimize operational efficiencies in the CAR T Cell Therapy process.
Qualifications
Educational Qualification:
Graduation in Science with an MBA or Post Graduate degree in Management.
Minimum Work Experience:
15-18 years of experience in commercial operations (preferably in Pharma/Med Device/Health Tech/Supply Chain/Oncology space).
Skills & Attributes
Technical Skills
Extensive experience in healthcare operations and supply chain management, particularly in pharma, med tech, or CGT (Cell and Gene Therapy).
Knowledge of commercial operations in pharma/med tech/CGT, including tech platforms.
Strong understanding of the Indian Pharma industry and market opportunities.
Experience analyzing financial data to drive profitability.
Proven ability in stakeholder management, operations planning, and sales/distribution management.
