Job Summary

Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. is hiring a Group Product Manager (Acute - Oral Care) for its Hyderabad location. This leadership role focuses on driving the brand growth of oral care products, from conceptualization and market analysis to launch and post-launch audits. The ideal candidate will leverage market insights and competitor analysis to plan product positioning, lead CME programs, and manage cross-functional collaborations, ensuring competitive advantage and revenue growth in the Indian pharmaceutical landscape.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and conceptualize new product opportunities based on therapeutic needs.

  • Develop business cases and position strategies for oral care product launches.

  • Prepare product manuals and coordinate launch meetings.

  • Conduct post-launch audits; assess product performance and implement improvements.

  • Collaborate with ad agencies for branding and promotional strategy execution.

  • Lead Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs to strengthen relations with healthcare professionals.

  • Mentor and guide team members to ensure performance excellence.

  • Design region-specific strategies based on sales team feedback.

  • Manage budgets, resource allocation, and cost optimization.

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to inform strategy.

  • Align product lifecycle management with corporate objectives and regulatory standards.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate in any Science stream (Pharmacy, Life Sciences, etc.); MBA preferred.

  • 7–10 years of product management experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Proven expertise in pharma product launches and brand management.

  • Deep understanding of the Indian pharmaceutical market, including competitor behavior and customer insights.

  • Strong strategic, analytical, and financial management skills.

  • Exceptional communication for diverse stakeholder engagement.

  • Experience in team leadership and talent development.

  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance in pharma.

  • Proficiency with market research and project management tools.

  • Decision-making and adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving market environment.
