Job Title

Trainer – Field Force Development


Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Trainer to design, deliver, and manage learning programs for our field force at Dr. Reddy’s. The role involves identifying training needs, developing customized programs, managing eLearning platforms, and fostering a culture of continuous learning to drive sales effectiveness and organizational growth.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct Training Needs Identification (TNI) by engaging with stakeholders to assess team-specific requirements.

  • Design and customize training programs for Managers and frontline sales teams.

  • Oversee content development and manage eLearning and mobile learning platforms for field force training.

  • Deliver and evaluate managerial programs for Area Managers (AM) and Regional Managers (RM).

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to align training initiatives with business goals.

  • Foster a collaborative environment, set clear performance expectations, and support team members’ professional growth.

  • Implement and monitor accreditation activities, including skill evaluations and post-accreditation development plans.


Qualifications

Education

  • Graduate in any discipline (Science/Pharmacy preferred).

  • MBA desirable.

Experience

  • 2–10 years of experience in training and team management.

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of pharma sales (Sales Rep/Sales Officer/ASM roles).

  • Experience in Sales & Marketing.

  • Basic science knowledge.

  • Familiarity with modern training methodologies, pedagogy, and practices.

  • Knowledge of organizational, product, marketing, and sales processes.

Behavioral Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

  • Ability to connect with and inspire team members.

  • Flexibility and openness to new ideas.

  • Strong coaching and feedback skills.

  • Motivational leadership.
