Department Overview: Commercial GBS, Obesity Marketing

The HCP Marketing Function in the Commercial GBS Obesity Marketing team focuses on transforming the way obesity is perceived and managed globally. Based in Bangalore, India, the team designs impactful marketing strategies to engage healthcare professionals and make obesity a healthcare priority. This dynamic and fast-paced environment offers an opportunity to work closely with global teams to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives.


Position: Global Project Lead - Congresses

Location: Bangalore, India
Department: Commercial GBS, Obesity Marketing

As a Global Project Lead - Congresses, you will drive branded congress strategies to ensure impactful HCP engagement, aligning them with brand objectives and maximizing ROI.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Congress Strategy and Planning:

    • Develop and execute branded congress strategies to align with brand objectives and maximize brand visibility.
    • Plan annual congress participation in collaboration with the Obesity HCP Marketing Director, ensuring alignment with HCP segment goals.
  2. Event Management and Execution:

    • Lead planning, execution, and assessment of global congresses, focusing on branded visibility and customer experience.
    • Manage content tracks using personal and non-personal engagement channels.
  3. Customer Engagement:

    • Partner with the Congress Excellence and Digital Team to enhance omnichannel HCP engagement for optimized reach and efficiency.
    • Act as a strategic partner for commercial brand teams, delivering insights and driving global initiatives across regions and affiliates.
  4. Collaboration and Reporting:

    • Serve as a key contact for HCP marketing stakeholders, optimizing budgets and maximizing ROI.
    • Report on congress performance and share insights to improve future engagements.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Pharma, Science/Biotechnology, or Medical Sciences.
    • Master’s degree in Marketing from a reputable institution is preferred.
  • Experience:

    • 10+ years in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry, focusing on managing and executing medical conferences or events.
    • Experience in digital marketing, multichannel engagement, and obesity therapy is preferred.
  • Skills:

    • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration experience.
    • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Word.
    • Analytical and strategic decision-making abilities.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
