Job Overview

Novo Nordisk is seeking a Global Project Lead – Adobe Target to drive digital optimisation and personalisation initiatives within the Congress Excellence team in Bangalore. This strategic role focuses on enhancing the commercial and engagement value of global congress platforms through data-driven experimentation, A/B testing, and advanced personalisation using Adobe Experience Cloud.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise in Adobe Target, analytics-driven decision-making, and website optimisation within a global pharmaceutical or healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead execution of all Congress Hub digital journeys across global congress initiatives.

  • Design, build, and deploy congress-specific personalisation journeys using Adobe Experience Cloud and Adobe Target.

  • Implement A/B and multivariate testing strategies to optimise user engagement and experience.

  • Collaborate with AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) teams, leveraging data layers and analytics integrations.

  • Act as Adobe Target/Optimizely gatekeeper for congress-related requests, ensuring quality control and rapid escalation handling during live events.

  • Develop optimisation hypotheses, validate implementation, conduct QA, and communicate performance insights to international stakeholders.

  • Establish reporting frameworks using tools such as Adobe Analytics to measure impact and ROI of optimisation initiatives.

  • Create and maintain a global optimisation roadmap aligned with business strategy and medical engagement goals.

  • Drive segmentation, visitor engagement improvements, and continuous digital enhancement initiatives.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Digital Marketing, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in digital optimisation, web personalisation, and data analytics within a global organization.

  • Proven hands-on expertise in Adobe Target and Adobe Analytics dashboards.

  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and W3 standards.

  • Experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and website optimisation frameworks.

  • Solid understanding of statistical principles related to A/B testing and experimentation.

  • Strong UX and customer journey awareness.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyse large datasets, generate insights, and recommend actionable strategies.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills in international environments.

  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to manage tight deadlines and multiple priorities.

Congress Excellence operates within Global Medical Affairs – Product & Portfolio Strategy, headquartered in Denmark and supported by the Global Business Services (GBS) center in Bangalore. The team is responsible for delivering high-impact, evidence-based scientific engagement across both physical and digital congress platforms.

Working closely with global medical stakeholders, the team designs and executes digital congress strategies that enhance visibility, engagement, and lead generation while maintaining compliance and scientific integrity.
