The Global Regulatory Strategy, Partner Market, & Science Center of Excellence (CoE) team is a diverse and inclusive group dedicated to fostering a culture of excellence by:

  • Driving operational effectiveness in regulatory processes.
  • Enabling strategic decision-making for the global regulatory strategy portfolio.
  • Bridging regulatory activities with brand needs.
  • Monitoring regulatory performance and budget.
  • Ensuring operational excellence and continuous improvement in Partner Markets (G2) for Science, encompassing Regulatory, Medical, and Pharmacovigilance.
  • Creating value through a best-in-class CoE structure for Science activities and processes.

The CHC Science Center of Excellence (CoE) serves as an internal resource organization present in several countries, including India, Colombia, and Hungary. The primary CoE is located in India, designed to centralize various processes—Regulatory, Medical, Pharmacovigilance, CMC, Labelling, and Clinical Operations—to effectively manage and support Science Customer functions. Our goal is to be a collaborative partner, providing strategic and tactical support for CHC Science on a global scale.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Establish and promote standardized processes and best practices within the CoE to ensure consistency across business units and regions.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing through training programs, workshops, and repositories to enhance process improvement.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging employees to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Monitor process performance and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess effectiveness.
  • Support change management by providing guidance and resources for adopting new processes.
  • Explore emerging trends and best practices in process management to drive innovation.
  • Establish governance structures to oversee and monitor process improvement initiatives.
  • Build process management capabilities through training, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Integrate feedback from global and local managers into process improvement efforts.
  • Leverage technology to enable process automation and optimization.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration to address challenges and opportunities.
  • Conduct benchmarking exercises and share best practices with stakeholders.
  • Oversee the digital landscape for Science and user access management within the CoE.

About You

  • Education: Minimum MS degree; higher qualifications (Pharm D, MD, PhD, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Experience: Over 8 years in the global pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry, with significant team collaboration experience. At least 10 years of scientific experience in the Life Sciences industry, ideally in pharmaceuticals or consumer healthcare. A minimum of 5 years in leadership and team management within a matrix organization.
  • Skills: Ability to challenge existing norms, prioritize collective goals, engage with customers for insights, and strong communication skills in English.
