Position Summary

The Global HEOR Value Writing Senior Associate supports Amgen’s global market access strategy by developing high-quality Health Technology Assessment (HTA) deliverables. The role involves close collaboration with the Global Value Writing Team Lead and Global HEOR Product Leads to ensure strategic alignment with product goals. Responsibilities include authoring Global Value Dossiers (GVDs), US AMCP dossiers, EU JCA dossiers, HTA briefing books, reports, and scientific publications. Deliverables must be scientifically robust and tailored to resonate with HTA bodies and payer audiences.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and update:

    • Global Value Dossiers (GVDs)

    • US AMCP dossiers

    • EU JCA dossiers

    • Early HTA briefing books

  • Write scientifically accurate content tailored to HTA/payer requirements, integrating evidence from clinical, economic, and real-world data.

  • Contribute to HEOR publication activities (abstracts, posters, manuscripts).

  • Support preparation of training materials and onboarding documentation for HEOR writing resources.

  • Ensure compliance with internal processes, publication standards, and HTA guidelines.

  • Stay current with HTA requirements, payer trends, and value communication best practices.

  • Review and perform quality checks (QC) of peer deliverables.

  • Actively contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions.


Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Health Economics, Medicine, Public Health, Life Sciences, or related field.

Experience

  • Master’s degree: Minimum 3+ years relevant experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree: Minimum 5+ years relevant experience.

  • Proven experience in developing value dossiers (GVDs/AMCP) and supporting HTA submissions.

  • Skilled in synthesizing clinical, economic, and real-world evidence into payer-relevant narratives.

  • Familiar with systematic literature reviews and evidence synthesis methodologies.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong English writing and communication skills, adaptable for diverse stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and reference management tools (e.g., EndNote).

  • Strong project management and organizational abilities; capable of handling multiple priorities.

  • Understanding of HTA processes, payer evidence needs, and reimbursement landscapes.

  • Knowledge of Good Publication Practice (GPP) and publication submission procedures.

  • Innovative mindset with ability to leverage AI tools for efficiency.
