To harness the power of new technologies, we created a new Clinical Data & AI Processing (CDAIP) department within Clinical Sciences and Operations.
As the Global Head of AI-Driven Innovations, you will lead the strategy to apply AI and cutting-edge innovations in clinical data processing and analytics. You will play a critical role in transforming the drug development process and enhancing patient outcomes.
Main Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and lead the strategy to leverage AI and advanced data processing in clinical development, enabling real-time, interactive access to clinical data and analytics.
Innovation Driver:
Identify and implement emerging technologies and methodologies in AI and data science to transform clinical data processing.
Spearhead development and integration of AI-driven solutions for clinical data analysis and clinical research.
Team Leadership:
Build, lead, and mentor a team of data scientists, AI specialists, and clinical data experts.
Foster a collaborative work environment that promotes creativity, innovation, and continuous learning.
Stakeholder Management:
Align department goals with company strategy in collaboration with senior leadership.
Partner with clinical and digital teams to ensure seamless integration of AI and data solutions.
Compliance and Ethics:
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and ethical standards for AI and data processing activities.
Maintain strong data governance and security protocols related to AI in healthcare.
About You:
Education: Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Computer Science, Data Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
Experience: 10+ years of leadership experience in clinical data processing, AI, or related fields within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of machine learning, natural language processing, and other relevant AI technologies.
Knowledge: Strong knowledge of clinical development processes and regulatory requirements.
Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
