Role: Biometrics Delivery Lead (DL)

At Parexel, the Biometrics Delivery Lead plays a critical leadership role in managing and coordinating data operations for clinical trials. Reporting to the Global Biometrics Account Lead (AL), this position focuses on the strategic execution of data operations, ensuring technology and processes are effectively implemented across projects in the EMEA region.


Key Responsibilities

Global Data Organization (GDO) Strategic Support

  • Provide leadership to align data operations with Parexel's and clients' business objectives.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients, internal teams, and third-party vendors.
  • Coordinate cross-functional meetings to track milestones and ensure timely delivery of clinical trial requirements.
  • Oversee technical and non-technical system setups for complex projects.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring synchronization across Data Management, Programming, and Biostatistics.
  • Advocate for and enforce data standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide technical oversight and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Stay updated on regulations and guidelines relevant to clinical data operations.

Team Management and Leadership

  • Build and maintain relationships with internal teams, functional leaders, and external clients.
  • Oversee operational setup and ensure access to tools and resources for project team members.
  • Guide team members in achieving project metric targets and deliverables.
  • Contribute to proposals, bid defense meetings, and client discussions.
  • Support project planning by reviewing protocols, timelines, and tools.
  • Act as a liaison between the client and Parexel for data integration and technology deliverables.
  • Provide direction, mentorship, and motivation to virtual and cross-cultural teams.

Qualifications and Skills

Experience and Knowledge

  • Several years of experience in CRO/Pharma/Biotech environments.
  • Proven ability to lead project teams in data operations, programming, or statistical settings.
  • Solid understanding of clinical trial data standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Expertise in project management and cross-functional collaboration.

Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, data management, or a related discipline.

Skills

  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in guiding and motivating remote and multicultural teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of ICH-GCP, SOPs, and clinical data standards.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Fluency in English and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
