German Speaking Pharmacovigilance QC Associate – Budapest, Hungary (Hybrid)

Job Summary:
Cognizant is seeking a German-speaking Pharmacovigilance QC Associate to join its drug safety operations in Budapest, Hungary. This full-time hybrid role is perfect for fresh graduates or professionals with up to 2+ years of pharmacovigilance or clinical experience. The position focuses on translation, data entry, and quality review of adverse event reports in compliance with global pharmacovigilance standards including ICH-GCP and GVP. You'll work in a dynamic, multilingual team and contribute to global patient safety.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate relevant non-English AE report data into English and update AE forms

  • Review and perform quality control on translated safety information

  • Enter adverse event data into Argus Affiliate/Core safety database

  • Perform case triage, duplicate checks, and book-in follow-ups

  • Redact/anonymize AE forms and source documents as needed

  • Upload documents and manage case transfers to central processing sites

  • Respond to safety queries and discrepancies in Argus or AE documentation

  • Track case IDs and maintain data accuracy for audit readiness

  • Participate in root cause analysis and recommend CAPAs

  • Support audits, inspections, and team member training initiatives


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Medical Sciences

  • 0–2+ years of experience in Pharmacovigilance or relevant clinical roles

  • Proficiency in German and English (minimum B2 CEFR level or equivalent)

  • Knowledge of Argus safety database, case processing, and PV regulations

  • Familiarity with ICH-GCP, GVP, MedDRA coding

  • Strong attention to detail, documentation, and compliance focus

  • Ability to work in multicultural, multilingual environments
