Position Overview:

The General Manager, Operations will oversee the daily operations of our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, ensuring the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and compliance. Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Operational Management:

  • Lead and manage all operations within the factory, including supply chain (procurement to planning), production, maintenance/engineering, validation, technical services, and operational excellence teams.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations with full responsibility for the P&L of both sterile and non-sterile operations.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and high-quality standards.

2. Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to meet business goals and growth targets, including leading site-specific initiatives and investment projects.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the site’s capital investment budget.

3. Quality and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (FDA, TPP, European regulations) by developing and implementing quality improvement plans.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external regulatory bodies to maintain product quality and ensure regulatory compliance.

4. Customer and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external customers to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Contribute to the North American CMO leadership group, driving customer satisfaction and overall business success.

5. Staff Development and Leadership:

  • Promote employee growth and development by providing feedback during evaluations and fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
  • Lead a site-specific leadership committee composed of functional leaders from various departments.

  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required.
