Job Description
We are seeking skilled Freelance Translators and Reviewers to work on non-academic content across multiple languages. Ideal candidates will have subject-matter expertise in the target field and experience working in multilingual environments.
Your primary responsibility will be to accurately translate content from the source language to native-level English or vice versa, ensuring linguistic precision, cultural appropriateness, and clarity. This role allows flexibility, enabling you to select projects that align with your expertise and schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Translate non-academic content between source languages and English with high accuracy.
Review translated content for consistency, clarity, and cultural appropriateness.
Collaborate with project managers to understand client requirements and maintain quality standards.
Ensure deadlines are met while maintaining linguistic precision and readability.
Qualifications and Prerequisites
Applicants must satisfy at least one of the following criteria:
Degree in Translation or equivalent program from a recognized institution with formal translation training.
Graduate or higher degree in any field plus a minimum of two years of professional translation experience.
Five years of professional translation experience in a non-academic context.
Additional skills:
Strong command of English and at least one other language at a professional level.
Familiarity with translation tools or software is preferred.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.
