Position Title: Float Phlebotomist

Location: 6485 Wilmington Pike, Dayton, OH 45459

Incentives:

  • Quarterly Incentive Bonus Program
  • Float Incentive: Additional $2.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, scheduled hours between 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Rotating Saturdays

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
  • Collect specimens for various tests (e.g., drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests).
  • Accurately input patient information and data.
  • Process billing and collect payments when required.
  • Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
  • Maintain logs for patient and specimen information.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all patients.
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
  • Travel to additional sites as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program or prior phlebotomist experience required.
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Proven track record in delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Comfort working with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable transportation and clean driving record, if applicable.
  • Flexibility to work overtime when needed.
  • Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.
