Job Summary:

Alvotech is seeking an experienced Finished Product Lead to drive the development and design control of combination drug-device products in Stockholm, Sweden. This leadership role involves managing cross-functional teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and overseeing the technical aspects of pharmaceutical finished products. The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of product development expertise within the pharmaceutical industry and demonstrate a strong ability to influence both internal processes and external partnerships.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of finished pharmaceutical products in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Oversee design control processes aligned with program and regulatory requirements.

  • Review critical documentation related to combination drug-device product development.

  • Maintain technical proficiency in the function, assembly, and testing of injection devices.

  • Stay informed on global regulatory guidelines for combination drug products.

  • Draft and improve SOPs and development processes.

  • Coordinate supplier consultations and manage third-party development work.

  • Support efficient planning and utilization of batch production.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in a relevant scientific field.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical product development.

  • Strong leadership, project management, and strategic planning skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions and lead large-scale projects.

  • Comprehensive understanding of pharmaceutical operations and market value creation.

  • Proven success working with internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Hands-on approach to problem-solving with a focus on process improvement.

  • Strong collaboration and team-building abilities.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
