Role Overview

The Field Clinical Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring seamless deployment, training, troubleshooting, and clinical adoption of AI-powered RPM systems across assigned healthcare facilities.

This role bridges clinical teams and technical operations, ensuring healthcare providers are fully equipped to utilize remote patient monitoring technology effectively and safely. The position requires frequent regional travel and hands-on field engagement.

This opportunity is ideal for professionals with clinical certifications and experience in medical device support, healthcare coordination, or clinical technology implementation.


Key Responsibilities

Clinical Training & Staff Support

  • Deliver hands-on training to nurses and caregivers on device operation, maintenance, and interpretation of patient readings.

  • Provide on-site and remote assistance for operational and system-related queries.

  • Coordinate telehealth assessments in collaboration with Nurse Practitioners (NPs).

  • Support nursing teams in conducting patient reviews for stable patients.

  • Reinforce compliance with facility protocols and company guidelines.

Device Installation & Deployment

  • Coordinate with installation teams to deploy RPM devices, sensors, and monitoring systems within healthcare facilities.

  • Ensure accurate device calibration, pairing, and network connectivity.

  • Conduct functionality testing prior to project sign-off.

On-Site Troubleshooting & Technical Support

  • Respond promptly to device malfunctions or connectivity concerns.

  • Diagnose minor hardware or software issues and escalate complex cases to technical support.

  • Replace or maintain faulty devices to prevent clinical disruption.

  • Ensure firmware updates are completed to maintain system performance.

Compliance & Patient Data Security

  • Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and company policies regarding patient data privacy.

  • Follow safety standards when handling medical-grade electronic equipment.

  • Maintain infection control compliance during device installation and servicing.

  • Keep required clinical certifications active and compliant.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Record installation, troubleshooting, and service activities within internal systems.

  • Report recurring technical issues to engineering and product teams.

  • Maintain detailed service logs and resolution documentation.

Inventory & Asset Management

  • Manage inventory of devices, peripherals, and replacements.

  • Track deployment, retrieval, and replacement status within assigned accounts.

  • Ensure proper transportation and storage of clinical equipment.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with clinical, engineering, logistics, product, and technical support teams.

  • Provide field insights to enhance product development and user experience.

  • Escalate customer concerns and improvement recommendations to leadership.


Required Qualifications

  • Certification as CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant), Paramedic, or Medical Assistant (MA) – at least one certification required.

  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in clinical coordination, medical device installation, healthcare technology support, or similar field-based roles.

  • Experience working in healthcare settings, preferably skilled nursing or long-term care facilities.

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently within assigned territories.

  • Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of healthcare workflows.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to independently manage field responsibilities and multitask effectively.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) systems.

  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance and data protection standards.

  • Prior exposure to AI-powered medical technologies.

  • Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving capabilities.
