Role Summary:

As an Expert Scientific Writer, you will manage and complete assigned Medical Communications projects with high-quality standards, adhering to agreed timelines. Projects include preparing manuscripts, abstracts, posters, slide sets, symposia content, congress/advisory board reports, publication planning, and medical education materials for internal medical and clinical teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Content Creation & Quality Control:

    • Prepare literature reviews, abstracts, posters, slide sets, and complex manuscripts using various data sources (clinical study reports, patient profiles, protocols).
    • Perform quality control and proofreading of deliverables to meet customer expectations.
  2. Project Management:

    • Manage multiple projects for up to two brands, ensuring timely delivery and obtaining feedback from customers.
    • Implement customer management tactics and ensure compliance with group project management tools and policies.
  3. Documentation & Tracking:

    • Follow Novartis specifications for documentation, including templates, and track clinical trial milestones for assigned projects.
    • Maintain records, including archiving, and ensure audit, SOP, and training compliance.
  4. Training & Team Support:

    • Train new joiners and colleagues, as required.
    • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Essential Requirements:

  1. Education:

    • B.Sc. (with 10 years of Clinical Research experience), or M.Sc./M.Pharm (with 8 years of Clinical Research experience).
  2. Experience:

    • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Clinical Research (CR).
    • Excellent written and oral English skills.
