About the Role
Sanofi is seeking an Expert Scientific Writer – HEVA to create, manage, and optimize high-quality scientific communications supporting Health Economics and Value Assessment (HEVA) initiatives. This role is responsible for developing manuscripts, posters, abstracts, slide decks, and other HEVA deliverables aligned with strategic objectives and global HEVA communication plans.
As a senior member of the team, you will ensure integration of clinical and health economic evidence to support product value, coach and mentor writers, and collaborate with stakeholders across medical, RWE, and scientific communication teams globally. Your expertise will directly influence healthcare decision-making and access strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation and Strategy
Develop HEVA communications deliverables including manuscripts, posters, abstracts, and slide decks in line with global and regional HEVA strategies.
Contribute to publication and medical communication plans, prioritizing evidence needs for healthcare decision-makers.
Manage Core Value Decks, AMCP Dossiers, and other HEVA submissions with accurate, up-to-date synthesis of key evidence.
Innovate HEVA value communications to enhance relevance and impact in supporting product access and reimbursement.
Team Leadership and Mentorship
Coach and guide senior and junior HEVA writers, reviewing their content for quality and scientific accuracy.
Share expertise and provide support to enhance team capabilities.
Facilitate knowledge transfer and training within the team and across functions.
Process Management and Compliance
Ensure adherence to publication SOPs and regulatory compliance for HEVA communications.
Manage end-to-end processes in iEnvision (or related platforms), ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
Coordinate with vendors and external contributors as needed to meet project timelines.
Implement continuous process improvements to optimize content delivery and training effectiveness.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Liaise with global and local HEVA teams, RWE teams, and scientific communication groups to identify and deliver on publication needs.
Maintain strong relationships with medical and scientific communities to support HEVA evidence dissemination.
Required Experience and Skills
Experience: Minimum 7+ years in scientific content creation within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or academic sectors.
Education: Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Public Health, Epidemiology, or a Medical degree.
Technical Skills: Expertise in HEVA communications, health economics, outcomes research, Good Publication Practice (GPP), publication submissions, and project management.
Soft Skills: Strong stakeholder management, leadership, coaching, communication, and team collaboration.
Language: Excellent written and spoken English.
