Job Title: Expert Scientific Writer – HEVA (Health Economics and Value Assessment)

Team / Department Overview:

  • Part of Sanofi Global Hub (SGH), an internal Sanofi resource organization in India.

  • Centralizes processes and activities to support Specialty Care, Vaccines, General Medicines, CHC, CMO, R&D, Data & Digital functions.

  • SGH acts as a strategic partner for Medical, HEVA, and Commercial teams globally.


Role Summary:

Develop, review, and manage HEVA communications deliverables, including manuscripts, posters, abstracts, slide decks, and study reports. Ensure evidence supports product value and payer access while maintaining adherence to compliance standards. Mentor scientific writers and maintain therapeutic area expertise.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Evidence & Communication Deliverables:

  • Create HEVA communications aligned with strategy and global HEVA communication plans.

  • Deliver manuscripts, posters, abstracts, slide decks, study reports, and Core Value Decks.

  • Support integration of clinical and health economic evidence for decision-makers.

  • Prepare comprehensive reports of study results (e.g., health economic endpoints, psychometric analysis).

2. Process & Compliance:

  • Manage HEVA communication processes, templates, and portfolio products.

  • Maintain adherence to publication SOPs and compliance standards.

  • Implement annual publication plans and manage vendor deliverables.

  • Leverage advanced tools for training and content delivery.

3. Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with HEVA Global and Local teams, RWE teams, Medical Affairs, COA teams, and other relevant stakeholders.

  • Support publication needs and develop customized deliverables for stakeholders.

  • Maintain effective relationships with the medical scientific community.

4. People & Mentorship:

  • Review and develop content created by junior and senior scientific writers.

  • Coach and guide scientific writers within the team.

  • Maintain TA expertise and provide strategic input to HEVA projects.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience: 8+ years in HEOR or related experience in pharmaceuticals, CROs, or academia.

  • Relevant training or experience in health economics, public health, epidemiology, psychology, or other health-related scientific disciplines.

  • Technical & Soft Skills: Stakeholder management, project management, publication submissions, procedure adherence, analytical and scientific writing skills.

  • Proficiency in tools like Datavision & Matrix.

  • Languages: Excellent English (spoken and written).
