Role Overview

The Expert Content Writer – Learning Design & Development is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scientifically rigorous and engaging learning content for diverse audiences, including internal teams (sales, marketing), healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders. This role combines scientific expertise, instructional design skills, and stakeholder collaboration to create impactful training solutions aligned with therapeutic area priorities and business goals.


Key Responsibilities

Content Design & Development

  • Develop high-quality learning materials, including eLearning modules, workshops, assessments, and supporting resources.

  • Interpret complex scientific data and therapeutic area knowledge into clear, engaging, and accurate learning content.

  • Apply instructional design principles and adult learning theory to enhance learning effectiveness and user engagement.

  • Manage end-to-end content development, from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with stakeholder needs and compliance standards.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and internal teams to ensure scientific accuracy and relevance of all content.

  • Build strong relationships with business units, requestors, and other stakeholders to tailor learning solutions to specific needs.

  • Share expertise and mentor team members new to scientific content creation.

Performance & Quality Management

  • Continuously assess training effectiveness and learning outcomes; refine content based on feedback and performance metrics.

  • Coordinate with vendor partners to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content.

  • Ensure all learning solutions comply with organizational, regulatory, and quality standards.


Required Qualifications & Skills

Experience:

  • 6–9 years of experience in scientific content creation within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or academic sector.

Education:

  • Advanced degree (M.Sc., M.Pharm, Ph.D., or Medical degree) in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related disciplines.

Technical Skills:

  • In-depth understanding of scientific content and therapeutic areas.

  • Ability to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly for diverse audiences.

  • Knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and learning management systems.

  • Familiarity with authoring tools and digital learning technologies is an advantage.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration abilities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
