Job Summary

Syngene International Ltd. is hiring an Executive / Research Associate / Analyst for its Small Molecule Bioanalytical Research Laboratory within Translational and Clinical Research. This is a hands-on technical role focused on executing regulated bioanalytical (BA/BE) studies, including method development, validation, and sample analysis in compliance with global regulatory standards.

The position is based in Bangalore, India, and offers an opportunity to work in a highly compliant, scientifically rigorous bioanalytical environment supporting global drug development programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform bioanalytical laboratory activities, including sample processing for method development, method validation, and study sample analysis, in accordance with approved protocols.

  • Prepare Standard Test Procedures (STPs), method validation protocols, and study sample analysis protocols.

  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, STPs, GCP, GLP, and applicable regulatory guidelines.

  • Operate and troubleshoot analytical instruments such as LC-MS/MS, HPLC, and related systems.

  • Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve equipment or utility-related issues.

  • Accurately document experimental data and maintain official records in line with ALCOA++ principles.

  • Participate in scientific discussions related to project execution and assay strategy.

  • Ensure timely responses to QC and QA observations with minimal audit findings.

Education Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Pharmaceutics or other related Life Sciences from a recognized university.

Experience Required

  • 2 to 5 years of hands-on industry experience in regulated small molecule bioanalytical research.

  • Prior experience in a Bioanalytical CRO laboratory is highly desirable.

  • Practical exposure to BA/BE studies, method development, and method validation is essential.

  • People management experience is not required for this role.

Technical & Scientific Competencies

  • Strong understanding of bioanalytical workflows for small molecule analysis.

  • Ability to independently plan, conduct, and troubleshoot bioanalytical experiments.

  • Proficiency in data analysis, interpretation, and timely scientific reporting.

  • Capability to assess risks proactively and implement mitigation strategies.

  • Familiarity with regulatory expectations and inspection readiness.

Documentation & Compliance Skills

  • Excellent adherence to ALCOA++ data integrity principles.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

  • Clear, concise scientific writing with strong English proficiency.

  • Demonstrated ability to close QC/QA observations efficiently with minimal audit impact.
