Job Description:
The Oncology Account Specialist (OAS) will join the EVERSANA/Accord BioPharma sales team, which is launching a new product in the prostate cancer therapeutic category. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare providers in Urology and Oncology. The OAS will gather important insights about target accounts, present product information and clinical data, and communicate key selling messages to ensure a successful product launch within their assigned region.

Accord BioPharma is the U.S. specialty division of Intas Pharmaceuticals, a leading multinational company in pharmaceutical development, manufacturing, and marketing. The company focuses on oncology, immunology, and critical care, and is developing a portfolio of specialty molecules and biosimilars to improve patient access and provide affordable treatment options. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete advanced product training, gaining a comprehensive understanding of disease states, product features, benefits, and core selling messages.
  • Develop expertise in clinical selling and deliver impactful messaging.
  • Take responsibility for achieving sales results and meeting performance targets.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with healthcare providers in targeted accounts.
  • Prioritize and manage accounts in a large geographic area to drive sales success.
  • Address customer requests with a focus on excellent service and responsiveness.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Provide feedback to team leadership on areas for improvement and sales strategies.
  • Adhere to company, compliance, and regulatory policies and guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Expectations of the Job:

  • Travel up to 50% of the time may be required.
  • Full-time, exempt position.

Qualifications:

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in the pharmaceutical, diagnostic, or healthcare industry, preferably in specialty pharmaceuticals.
  • Specialized Experience: Recent experience in Urology and/or Oncology is required.
  • Buy-and-Bill Sales Experience: Recent experience in Buy-and-Bill sales, including reimbursement and distribution.
  • Technology/Tools: Proficiency with Outlook, Salesforce Automation, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in product launches.
  • Experience selling specialty injectable products.
  • Background in a start-up company or division with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Proven success in account management and market access.
  • Advanced computer skills preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:
EVERSANA offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and 401K with employer matching. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $110,000 to $170,000, based on experience and location.
