Job Summary

Clarivate is seeking an experienced Epidemiologist to join its team in Bangalore. In this role, you will conduct analytical epidemiological research and systematic literature reviews to support customer needs. The position involves estimating disease incidence and prevalence over a 10–20-year period through comprehensive data analysis and evidence synthesis from both published and grey literature sources.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform systematic reviews of published and grey literature to identify epidemiological data for assigned diseases and risk factors.

  • Conduct research using online grey literature datasets (e.g., NHANES, HCUP, cancer registries, government survey data) to summarize current prevalence and forecast disease trends.

  • Utilize proxy data sources or develop imputation and extrapolation models when country-specific data are unavailable.

  • Analyze large epidemiological and claims datasets to derive data-driven insights.

  • Contribute to global consulting and proprietary research projects, supporting data quality and methodological excellence.

  • Support internal programs by maintaining and enhancing the epidemiological sources database.

  • Collaborate across teams and regions to deliver evidence-based insights for clients.


Education, Experience, and Skills

Required:

  • Master’s degree in Epidemiology or Public Health.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in systematic literature reviews.

  • Strong methodological background in epidemiology and data analysis.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Preferred:

  • Minimum 2 years of client interaction experience.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience analyzing large datasets.

  • Experience in claims data analysis using SQL and/or Python.

  • Familiarity with Oncology, Real-World Data (RWD), and SAS tools.

The Epidemiology Team at Clarivate consists of 40+ global experts based across the U.S., Canada, and India. The team specializes in disease modeling, real-world data analysis, and epidemiological forecasting to support global healthcare and pharmaceutical clients.


Work Schedule

  • Work Mode: Hybrid

  • Working Hours: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM IST (flexible based on process/client requirements)

  • Employment Type: Permanent
