Responsibilities

  • Confirm case validity by identifying minimum criteria for case creation

  • Perform duplicate search; create initial or follow-up case

  • Handle patient safety case-management, adhere to regulatory reporting of Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs)

  • Identify serious adverse events and special scenarios: lack of efficacy, exposure, pregnancy, at-risk, product quality complaints

  • Attach relevant source documents or safety info/queries/follow-ups

  • Facilitate query-based follow-ups for missing/inconsistent source data

  • Perform medical coding (adverse events, medical history, lab data, indications) using MedDRA

  • Code suspect/co-suspect/concomitant products per client and regulatory conventions

  • Draft case narratives

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Understanding of case-handling process and drug research lifecycle

  • Strong verbal reasoning, attention to detail, and analytical thinking

  • Knowledge of therapy areas and medical terminology

  • Strong written and verbal communication, fluency in English, and interpersonal skills

Nice to Have

  • Additional qualifications or relevant prior experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety environments
