Role Overview:

The Medical Information Manager will oversee the service delivery of designated clients, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective service management. You will manage and develop teams, provide expertise in medical information, and collaborate with leadership to ensure the continued success and quality of ProPharma's medical information services.


Key Responsibilities:

Medical Information Service Delivery

  • Provide oversight and direction to teams, ensuring effective workload distribution and compliance with established working practices.

  • Deliver verbal and written clinical and technical information to both internal and external customers.

  • Report Adverse Events (AEs), Product Quality Complaints (PQCs), and pregnancy-related information.

  • Conduct literature searches and evaluations as needed.

  • Participate in relevant client meetings, ensuring consistent service quality and timely delivery.

Business Development

  • Represent ProPharma in Medical Information-related corporate activities, including client meetings and implementations.

  • Collaborate with Client Services for client onboarding and new implementations.

  • Identify business development opportunities and communicate them to senior management.

Quality Assurance

  • Monitor the team's performance to ensure compliance with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and agreed deadlines.

  • Address service complaints and deviations, providing corrective and preventative actions.

  • Support client and regulatory audits as required.

Personnel Management & Training

  • Coach, mentor, and motivate staff, promoting teamwork and resolving conflicts.

  • Conduct performance reviews, providing feedback and identifying training needs.

  • Assist with headcount planning and recruitment to meet client requirements.

General

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations as per ProPharma SOPs.

  • Act as a role model and promote a positive, professional work environment.


Qualifications:

  • US Specific: A professional degree in RPh, PharmD, PhD, MD, RN, DVM, or equivalent with 5+ years of management experience in a contact center or biotech/pharmaceutical clinical setting.

  • EU & JAPAC Specific: A degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or equivalent.

  • Strong knowledge of medical information services, healthcare systems, and pharmaceutical industry regulations.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, ensuring efficient and effective operations.

  • Proven ability to work with medical information tools and technology.
