Job Summary

Novartis is hiring a Director – Translational Medicine Expert (Clinical Pharmacology) to lead First-in-Human (FiH) and clinical pharmacology studies across global drug development programs. Key Responsibilities

Clinical Pharmacology Leadership

  • Lead multiple First-in-Human (FiH) and Clinical Pharmacology studies

  • Provide medical and scientific oversight for study execution

Study Design & Scientific Strategy

  • Contribute to:

    • Study Concept Sheets

    • Clinical Trial Protocols

    • Informed Consent Forms (ICFs)

    • Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs)

Safety Oversight & Data Monitoring

  • Oversee medical safety aspects including:

    • Safety reviews and reporting

    • Medical coding

    • Site Initiation Visits

  • Ensure regulatory compliance and risk mitigation

Clinical Data & Regulatory Contributions

  • Lead development of:

    • Clinical Study Reports (CSRs)

    • Scientific publications (abstracts, manuscripts)

  • Support regulatory submissions with high-quality clinical data

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with:

    • Translational Medicine Experts (TMEs)

    • Clinical Pharmacology teams

    • CRO partners and external stakeholders
