Overview

Insmed seeks a dynamic Director, HEOR (Health Economics and Outcomes Research) to lead strategic HEOR initiatives globally. This role plays a critical part in demonstrating the value of Insmed’s products across therapeutic areas, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including market access, medical affairs, and clinical development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute HEOR research strategies, including burden of illness studies, patient evidence studies, economic models, and systematic literature reviews.
  • Lead the design and implementation of HEOR research projects, ensuring scientific rigor and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Represent HEOR on clinical and commercial teams to coordinate activities and ensure timely deliverables.
  • Direct external research vendors and consultants, overseeing scientific methodologies and project outcomes.
  • Manage HEOR budgets, support operational processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (PhD strongly preferred) in a quantitative life sciences field.
  • Minimum 7 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in HEOR and/or market access.
  • Expertise in analytic methodologies, scientific data interpretation, and modeling.
  • Experience with HTA (Health Technology Assessment) both in the U.S. and globally.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and a sense of urgency.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex ideas effectively.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain valuable relationships and networks.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

Travel Requirements

  • Up to 15% travel, including domestic and international.

Salary Range

The base salary range for this position is $179,000.00 to $250,800.00 per year, considering candidate qualifications and the role’s complexity.
