Job Description:
Ergomed is seeking an experienced Business Development Director for the Southeast USA to drive growth in our CRO division. This strategic position offers the opportunity to contribute to our expanding presence in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Initiate, coordinate, and develop strategic plans and sales strategies for a specified territory or accounts.
  • Account Management: Develop and implement account strategies, expanding existing accounts and identifying new opportunities.
  • Market Research: Identify new markets and business opportunities within the designated territory.
  • Proposal Leadership: Collect critical information, provide leadership, and ensure detailed input for proposal preparation.
  • Client Presentations: Prepare and organize sponsor presentations, supporting team preparedness for client meetings, including Bid Defence Meetings (BDM) and Capabilities meetings.
  • Contract Negotiation: Monitor and facilitate budget and contract negotiations post-award.
  • Operations Coordination: Track project statuses, coordinate changes of scope with operations, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with current and potential clients.
  • Competitor Analysis: Track and monitor competitor CRO activities in the region.
  • Industry Engagement: Plan and attend major industry events and tradeshows to expand network and market presence.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive CRO sales experience with strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Established network within Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology companies, with a proven track record of securing profitable service contracts.
  • Knowledge of clinical trial regulations and industry trends, especially in Ergomed Group regions.
  • Excellent communication skills and team leadership capabilities, with the ability to influence and drive stakeholder alignment.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate service benefits to clients effectively.
  • Exceptional organizational, planning, and multitasking skills, with a focus on results and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to travel as required to support business development efforts.
