About the Role:
Medtronic is seeking a Compliance Specialist to join the Office of Ethics & Compliance as part of the Global Data & Insights Team. This role focuses on leveraging data analytics and visualization (via Power BI) to identify compliance risks, ensure regulatory transparency reporting (under Indian law), and support process improvements across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analytics, dashboarding, and regulatory compliance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop Power BI dashboards to visually communicate compliance metrics, identify risks, and enable data-driven decision-making.

  • Compile, review, clean, and submit transparency reports in accordance with Indian governmental and state-level requirements.

  • Maintain and review Healthcare Provider (HCP) and Healthcare Organization (HCO) data records to ensure accuracy for compliance reporting.

  • Support transparency dispute remediation by investigating data discrepancies and resolving issues with involved parties.

  • Conduct ad hoc reporting on HCP/HCO payments and transfers of value.

  • Collaborate across departments to align, reconcile, and validate datasets and source systems.

  • Present summaries and compliance metrics to senior management, supporting visibility and regulatory tracking.

  • Promote a data-driven compliance culture by using leading indicators and KPIs to drive measurable improvement.

  • Engage professionally as a representative of the Compliance team with business units, external vendors, and global departments.

  • Manage confidential and sensitive information with the highest standards of discretion and integrity.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong proficiency in Power BI dashboard development and data visualization best practices.

  • Experience in data wrangling, data cleaning, and transforming datasets into usable compliance reports.

  • Working knowledge of compliance reporting, preferably involving HCP/HCO transparency regulations in India.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally, gather requirements, and translate needs into clear, actionable reporting tools.

  • Solid understanding of data quality assurance, anomaly detection, and resolution/escalation processes.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing deadlines.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in compliance, data analytics, or transparency reporting.

  • Familiarity with Medtronic’s internal tools and reporting platforms is a plus.

  • Ability to handle highly sensitive data in accordance with global ethics and privacy standards.


Estimated Salary: ₹11 – ₹18 LPA (based on role, location, and industry averages)
