Role Overview:

We are seeking a Coding Specialist I to support clinical medical data coding processes. This role involves collaborating with data management teams to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of coded clinical data throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform clinical medical data coding tasks for assigned projects under supervision.
  • Work with management to enhance career development, technical competencies, and interpersonal skills.
  • Collaborate with the Coding Team and Lead Data Reviewer to oversee coding activities from start-up to completion.
  • Assist in project liaison duties, including tracking project-specific coding status.
  • Help implement solutions for data management coding challenges.
  • Review Data Management Plans and Study-Specific Dictionary Coding Conventions.
  • Support setup, maintenance, and closure of data management processes to ensure high-quality coded data.
  • Deliver accurate, high-quality medical coded data on time and within budget to achieve client satisfaction.
  • Maintain expertise in Medical Coding through internal and external training.
  • Work with global project teams to ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.
  • Propose and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Assist with dictionary verification for assigned projects.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
