You will be supporting the international roll-out of our approved prostate cancer imaging agent and helping to advance our late clinical-stage portfolio addressing unmet needs in oncology and rare diseases.


Position Summary

The Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) Intern will play a hands-on role in supporting Telix’s CMC team with external manufacturing and CDMO contracting activities.
You’ll assist in preparing and tracking work orders, reviewing technical SOWs, following procurement steps, and managing documentation related to contract execution.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience in pharmaceutical operations, regulatory readiness, and supply chain process mapping.


Key Responsibilities

1. CDMO Contracting Support

  • Collaborate with CMC leads to prepare and revise Statements of Work (SOWs).

  • Draft and track work orders defining outsourced manufacturing activities.

2. Work Order & Purchase Order Coordination

  • Support submission, tracking, and approvals for work orders and POs.

  • Communicate with vendors and internal teams to maintain project timelines.

3. Business Process Evaluation

  • Evaluate existing operational workflows to identify bottlenecks and improve efficiency.

4. Document Reconciliation

  • Maintain accurate version control of contracts and reconcile budget, executed work, and invoices.

5. System Uploads & Record Management

  • Upload finalized contracts to SharePoint and internal document control systems ensuring accessibility and compliance.

6. Meeting Participation

  • Attend internal CMC meetings, take structured notes, track follow-ups, and manage documentation.

7. Tool & Template Development

  • Assist in refining team templates, trackers, and flow diagrams to enhance operational efficiency.

8. Final Internship Presentation

  • Deliver a presentation summarizing key contributions, learnings, and process improvement suggestions at the end of the internship.


Education & Qualifications

Academic Background:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in one of the following disciplines:

  • Pharmaceutical Sciences

  • Chemical Engineering

  • Biomedical Engineering

  • Biochemistry

  • Other relevant life science or technical fields


Skills & Competencies

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)

  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documentation protocols

  • Eagerness to learn about external manufacturing, vendor engagement, and document control systems

  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision after onboarding

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
