Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Clinical Trials Sourcing Specialist - Global to join our Global Clinical Supplies Team in the EMEA region. This position will play a critical role in developing sourcing strategies, identifying vendors, and managing supplier relationships that support clinical trial operations. The role can be remote, hybrid, or office-based depending on the candidate's location and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing Strategy Development:
Partner with Sourcing Manager to shape and implement sourcing strategies for clinical trial supplies and services.
Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify quality, cost-effective suppliers compliant with regulatory standards.
Forecast product needs and monitor trends to proactively address supply challenges.
Risk Management & Compliance:
Assess supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize operational impact.
Ensure sourcing activities comply with GCP and clinical regulations.
Maintain updated records of product availability and supplier information.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Support the Proposal Development team with sourcing insights for tenders and bids.
Work with QA, clinical ops, QPs, and supply chain teams to integrate sourcing operations.
Manage seamless communication from sourcing through delivery with internal stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement & Quality:
Propose and implement efficiency enhancements through process automation and digital tools.
Assist the Quality team in investigating complaints, deviations, or audit findings related to sourced clinical materials.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of strategic sourcing experience in clinical supplies or pharmaceutical procurement.
Strong background in clinical trial sourcing within APAC and LATAM comparator markets.
Skills & Competencies Required:
Proficiency in strategic sourcing techniques, supplier negotiation, and contract management.
Familiarity with clinical trial sourcing requirements and industry regulations.
Strong analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience managing supplier and 3rd-party relationships with a service-driven mindset.
Fluent English proficiency—interviews will be conducted in English.
