Role Overview:

As a Clinical Support Specialist, you will provide on-site clinical application support for the Philips Vue PACS platform at various New York Presbyterian Hospitals. Your expertise in problem-solving and clinical support will be crucial in ensuring the effective use of our technology and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Issue Resolution: Utilize your clinical knowledge to identify and resolve issues with the Philips Vue PACS platform. Manage escalation coordination and administration.
  • Training & Guidance: Provide training and guidance to the service organization and customers, enhancing their understanding of clinical applications and workflows.
  • Documentation: Record troubleshooting steps and problem resolutions. Develop and execute action plans for escalations, and report to leadership on customer sites requiring intervention.
  • Customer Interaction: Address and resolve customer product inquiries through phone, email, or chat. Ensure feedback and safety allegations are submitted promptly.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Develop and deliver technical seminars to improve the productivity and effectiveness of field and remote specialists. Conduct root cause analysis to prevent issue recurrence.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience with PACS implementation is desired. Previous clinical support or related medical role experience is beneficial.
  • Certifications: AART/ASRT certifications are preferred.
  • Education: Degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Strong analytical abilities, capability to work under pressure, effective team collaboration, and knowledge of hospital workflows.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to meet physical, cognitive, and environmental job demands with or without accommodation.

Compensation:

  • Hourly Pay Range: $32.16 to $55.13, depending on experience, skills, and location.
  • Additional Compensation: Potential for annual incentive bonuses, and other incentives.
