The Role
Roche is seeking a Clinical Services Associate (CSA) to support the Clinical Services Project Management Team. In this role, you will coordinate clinical study activities, support Sponsor monitoring visits and audits, and ensure operational efficiency and compliance within Roche CDx CAP/CLIA laboratories. This position provides hands-on experience in clinical trial documentation, study coordination, and laboratory process management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Study Coordination: Schedule and manage Site Initiation Visits (SIVs), Monitoring Visits, Closing Visits, and audits, ensuring timely alignment with internal teams.

  • Documentation Management: Maintain laboratory and study documents, including Delegation of Authority (DOA) logs, device accountability records, study binders, and good documentation practices (GDP).

  • Monitoring Support: Assist during Monitoring Visits to ensure activities comply with study protocols and internal processes.

  • Supplier Management: Complete and update supplier questionnaires, coordinate follow-ups with Subject Matter Experts, and track documentation timelines.

  • Process Improvement: Participate in initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, workflow, and documentation standards within clinical laboratory operations.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum 2 years of administrative management experience or entry-level Clinical Research Associate (CRA)/Clinical Trial Assistant (CTA) experience.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Tools.

  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and oral; additional language skills are a plus.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in dynamic environments.

  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and ability to work independently or collaboratively.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in cancer research or clinical trials.

  • Knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines.

  • Exposure to global clinical operations or multi-country projects.

  • Experience with histo-technology laboratories is advantageous but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range (Tucson, AZ): $60,000 – $84,095, based on experience, qualifications, and location.

  • Discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and company performance.
