Role Overview

The Clinical Specialist / Stroke Rater ensures accuracy, consistency, and reliability of clinical trial assessments. Responsibilities include reviewing rating scales, evaluating assessment quality, providing real-time guidance to raters, and participating in training and calibration sessions.

This role is ideal for candidates fluent in Marathi and English, with experience in psychiatric or neurological clinical trials.


Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in orientation, training, and calibration activities.

  • Review case data and prepare documentation for rater discussions.

  • Conduct scheduled rater interactions and provide guidance on scoring methodology.

  • Support data reliability and consistency across CNS and stroke trials.

  • Complete assigned tasks and submit documentation accurately and on time.

  • Assist in mock interviews and maintain communication with project teams to ensure protocol compliance.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Master’s degree (MA/MS) in Psychology, Counseling, Psychiatric Nursing, or Social Work (or equivalent). MD, DO, or PhD preferred.

  • Experience:

    • 3+ years administering psychiatric assessments, rating scales, and structured clinical interviews (mRS and/or EQ-5D-5L).

    • 3+ years clinical experience with psychiatric or neurological populations.

    • 3+ years administering scales in clinical research trials (excluding graduate/doctoral work).

    • CNS or stroke trial experience is a plus.

  • Skills:

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for professional interaction at all levels.

    • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management.

    • Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Language Requirement: Fluent in English and native-level proficiency in Marathi.
