Role Overview

The Clinical Specialist / Stroke Rater will ensure accuracy and consistency in clinical trial assessments, providing guidance to raters and maintaining high-quality data standards. This role involves reviewing rating scales, conducting mock interviews, participating in training and calibration sessions, and supporting rater interactions in ongoing clinical trials.

This position is ideal for candidates with CNS or stroke clinical trial experience who are fluent in Marathi and English and seeking a flexible, remote work schedule.


Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in orientation, training, and calibration activities for raters.

  • Review clinical case data and prepare documentation for rater discussions.

  • Conduct scheduled rater interactions, providing guidance on scoring methods and assessment methodology.

  • Complete assigned tasks accurately and submit documentation within deadlines.

  • Ensure consistency and reliability of clinical trial assessment data.

  • Support communication and feedback to raters to maintain data integrity.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Master’s degree (MA/MS) in Psychology, Counseling, Psychiatric Nursing, or Social Work (or equivalent). MD, DO, or PhD preferred.

  • Experience:

    • 3+ years administering psychiatric assessments, rating scales, and structured clinical interviews (e.g., mRS, EQ-5D-5L).

    • 3+ years clinical experience with psychiatric or neurological populations.

    • 3+ years administering scales in clinical research trials (excluding graduate/doctoral work).

    • CNS clinical trial experience is a strong plus.

  • Skills:

    • Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills.

    • Strong organizational, attention to detail, and time management capabilities.

    • Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Language Requirement: Fluency in English and native-level proficiency in Marathi.
