Job Title: Clinical Medical Manager

Position Summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking a Clinical Medical Manager with expertise in new therapy areas including Cardiovascular Disease (CVD), Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), and Non-alcoholic Steatohepatitis (NASH). This role supports the planning and execution of clinical trials and scientific communication, contributing directly to innovative healthcare solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate execution of clinical trials (Phase I–IV) in new therapy areas.

  • Identify, map, and engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), investigators, and research centers.

  • Gather early-stage scientific insights and collaborate with external experts.

  • Support clinical operations in trial success through medical/scientific guidance.

  • Provide internal training and education to clinical staff.

  • Conduct scientific communication and deliver presentations.

  • Represent Novo Nordisk at investigator meetings and ensure trial awareness and engagement.

  • Communicate trial results effectively to investigators and KOLs.


Qualifications

  • MD in any discipline with strong clinical research or medical affairs background.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical or pharmaceutical industry.

  • Experience in healthcare research (from university, CRO, or pharma industry).

  • In-depth knowledge of CVD, CKD, and NASH; publication in peer-reviewed journals is a plus.

  • Understanding of pharmaceutical drug development and local healthcare infrastructure.

  • Prior experience as a clinical trial investigator or sub-investigator.

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for site visits, conferences, and company events.

The team collaborates with professional associations, patient advocacy groups, and KOLs to enhance research outcomes and promote patient-centric solutions.
