Clinical Laboratory Quality Manager
Location: Hybrid (following training)
Travel Requirement: Up to 20% regional travel


Labcorp is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Quality Manager to lead quality initiatives across our laboratories, ensuring adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate a culture of quality across laboratories.
  • Partner with laboratory leadership to establish and achieve quality goals.
  • Maintain and ensure regulatory readiness, including compliance with CLIA, CAP, ISO 15189, and other standards.
  • Conduct audits to identify quality issues, nonconformities, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Oversee proficiency testing and manage responses to regulatory citations, nonconformities, and complaints.
  • Train staff in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and process improvement techniques.
  • Monitor outcomes of investigations and corrective actions for effectiveness.
  • Collect and report quality indicators, audit outcomes, and complaint data for management.
  • Participate in quality meetings, process improvement initiatives, and regulatory projects.
  • Provide training on Labcorp quality policies and ensure seamless communication between laboratories.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Laboratory Science or a related field (required).
  • 4-5 years of Clinical Laboratory experience (required).
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and accreditation standards (CLIA, CAP, ISO 15189).
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment with a dedicated home office.
  • Willingness to travel regionally up to 20%.
