Job Title: Associate - Clinical Informaticist Coder (Contract)
Location: Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India

Job Description:
Innovaccer is seeking a Clinical Informaticist Coder on contract to work on our risk adjustment solution. The role involves interacting with product and customer success teams to understand and improve the adoption of CDS definitions for risk adjustment and clinical documentation. The candidate will also validate coding and documentation guidelines, create and maintain code groups for HCC definitions, and contribute to developing new solutions using clinical data and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with product and customer success teams to enhance risk adjustment CDS definitions and clinical documentation.
  • Validate coding and documentation guidelines for Risk Adjustment solutions.
  • Create and maintain code groups or value sets for HCC definitions.

What You Need:

  • Advanced knowledge of medical terminologies (RxNorm, LOINC, SNOMED, CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of body systems, anatomy, physiology, and disease processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of clinical workflows, EHRs, and clinical documentation.
  • Experience using clinical data and analytics to address healthcare challenges.
  • Excellent time management and the ability to juggle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Administration and 2 years of medical coding experience, or 4 years as a medical coder.
  • Coding experience with HCC Model is preferred.
  • Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Administrator (RHIA), or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in risk adjustment coding if not certified.
