Job Summary
ICON plc is hiring a Clinical Data Lead to oversee end-to-end clinical data management for global studies. Based in the United States, this role is perfect for experienced professionals with 5+ years in data management who can lead data flow strategies, design CRFs, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate study-specific training. Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary contact for clinical data management across assigned studies
Define and optimize study-specific data flow processes
Create and maintain robust documentation including CRFs, DMPs, and DB specifications
Perform UAT of clinical databases and validate edit checks
Conduct data entry training and ensure high data quality across teams
Oversee discrepancy resolution and escalate issues as needed
Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and internal SOPs
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years' experience in clinical data management
Strong understanding of CRF design, clinical database requirements, and GCP compliance
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in life sciences or related field
Experience in user acceptance testing and database validation
Excellent communication, documentation, and team leadership skills
