Benefits and Compensation

  • Salary Range: $250,000 - $299,750 annually, with incentives.
  • Relocation Allowance.
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM, no nights or weekends.
  • Outpatient Care Only: No call requirements.

Position Responsibilities

  • Clinical Oversight:

    • Diagnose and treat a range of medical conditions in veterans.
    • Preventive care and chronic disease management.
    • Ensure adherence to VA guidelines and maintain clinical excellence.
  • Operational Leadership:

    • Manage day-to-day medical operations.
    • Conduct chart reviews and oversee clinical outcomes.
    • Participate in financial and operational decisions.
  • Team Development:

    • Recruit, coach, and mentor clinical staff.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and enforce competencies.
  • Community Outreach:

    • Support clinic enrollment and retention initiatives.
    • Represent the clinic at outreach events.
  • Collaboration with VA Partners:

    • Maintain relationships with VA representatives.
    • Innovate and support new clinical and operational initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 4 years of clinical practice preferred, with healthcare management experience.
    • Experience in government healthcare settings preferred.
  • Educational Requirements:

    • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
    • Board certification in family practice or internal medicine.
  • Licensure and Certifications:

    • Current, unrestricted state medical license (any U.S. state or territory based on VA contract).
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
    • Active DEA registration.
    • Credentialed with Veterans Health Administration (VHA).
