Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Client Partner – Pathology Coding to join our team in Noida. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of pathology coding principles, ensure coding accuracy, and contribute to the client's revenue integrity. You’ll be responsible for outpatient and inpatient coding, compliance, productivity, and continuous learning.


Key Responsibilities:

Coding & Auditing:

  • Assign accurate diagnosis and CPT codes using ICD-10 and CPT-4 coding systems.

  • Perform coding and auditing for inpatient and outpatient pathology records with a minimum 96% accuracy.

  • Ensure compliance with coding turnaround time (TAT) and client-specific guidelines.

Specialty Expertise:

  • Apply in-depth knowledge of Pathology coding, including Surgery coding in an ambulatory or hospital setting.

  • Meet and exceed productivity standards for both inpatient and specialty-specific outpatient coding.

Compliance & Professionalism:

  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical standards.

  • Ensure coding adheres to all regulatory requirements, including CPT, ICD-10, ICD-9, HCPCS, and other applicable coding systems.

Continuous Improvement & Learning:

  • Engage in continuous skill and knowledge development through team meetings, training sessions, and educational conferences.

  • Participate in projects aimed at preventing revenue leakage and improving coding performance.


Qualifications:

Education:

  • Graduate in Life Sciences or equivalent healthcare-related field.

Experience:

  • 2–4 years of experience in Medical Coding, particularly in Surgery and Pathology.

  • Experience in Physician Education and exposure to ambulatory coding environments preferred.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • CCS, CPC, CPC-H, CIC, or COC from AAPC or AHIMA (with valid proof).

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of:

    • CPT-4, ICD-9, ICD-10, HCPCS coding systems

    • Medical billing systems, compliance, and audit procedures

  • Attention to detail and strong coding accuracy

  • Analytical thinking and a process-oriented mindset
