Responsibilities:

Medical Expertise: Build and maintain medical/scientific knowledge for the respective product and therapeutic area.
Medical Input for IBP: Provide medical insights to support the execution of the Integrated Brand Plan (IBP).
Local Medical Activities: Plan, execute, and monitor the effectiveness of local medical initiatives.
External Expert Engagement:
- Act as the primary medical contact with external experts (spending over 70% of working time).
- Engage with clinicians, scientific societies, and other stakeholders to understand customer needs and drive awareness of Boehringer Ingelheim products in the clinical and academic communities.
Cross-functional Contribution: Provide medical expertise to support various cross-functional activities.
Training: Provide medical training to ensure adequate product knowledge for internal teams (FF and other departments).
Program Coordination: Coordinate and monitor local medical programs such as non-interventional studies, IIS, and compassionate use programs.

Requirements:

Education: University degree in a medical/scientific field is required.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years working as a medical representative in an international pharmaceutical company.
- Experience in generating and interpreting scientific data and applying evidence-based medicine principles.
Skills:
- Strong business acumen, with knowledge of marketing, customer needs, and compliance.
- Strong expertise in managing external experts.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Digital proficiency and experience in digital communication.
- Upper-intermediate English proficiency.
