Position Overview

As an Associate Scientific Writer within the Content Operations Team at the Hyderabad Hub, your role will focus on the creation and optimization of content for market-driven campaigns. You’ll leverage your scientific expertise to produce high-quality, compliant content and drive the success of Omnichannel strategies, working with a team committed to delivering innovative digital solutions and improving customer experience across channels.

Main Responsibilities

Content Creation & Optimization:

  • Create branded and unbranded content with supervision, including content repurposing and localization.
  • Support the end-to-end content process: designing, enhancement, validation, tagging, deployment, publishing, and dissemination across relevant tools and platforms.
  • Conduct scientific accuracy checks to ensure content meets medical, legal, and regulatory standards (MLR).
  • Assist in the ideation, review, and refinement of AI-generated content (e.g., GenAI/Content Powerhouse) to enhance scientific integrity and engagement.
  • Develop SEO-friendly content for websites, social media, newsletters, and other Omnichannel campaigns, ensuring impactful and user-centered messaging.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with GTMC/Omnichannel pillars (Global, Local, Hub) to identify content needs and deliver customized, high-quality content.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to create engaging content across digital platforms (e.g., banners, emails, social media posts, KOL interviews, videos, podcasts, infographics, etc.).
  • Support brand messaging plans and channel-agnostic modular content frameworks, including claims, component review, and localization.

People & Performance:

  • Develop effective relationships with stakeholders to ensure content aligns with brand objectives.
  • Mentor junior writers, sharing expertise and helping them grow within the content operations framework.
  • Contribute to process improvements and tactical recommendations to optimize content creation and delivery.

Process & Quality:

  • Ensure the implementation of content plans aligned with therapeutic area strategies.
  • Act as a content expert for assigned therapeutic areas, ensuring compliance and quality standards are maintained.
  • Assist with content-need analysis and collaborate with vendors to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.

Experience & Skills

  • Experience:

    • Up to 2 years of content creation experience, ideally in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or Omnichannel domain.
    • Intermediate-Advanced skills in MS PPT, Excel, Word, and Adobe; experience in developing digital content is preferred.
  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong communication skills, stakeholder management, and the ability to work independently and within a team.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Exposure to therapeutic area/domain knowledge and medico-marketing content.
    • Proficiency in MS PPT, Excel, Word, and Adobe Suite.
  • Education:

    • Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or a related medical discipline.
  • Languages:

    • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
