Salary:

Position Overview:
IQVIA is hiring a Medical Science and Outcomes Liaison (MSOL) focused on cardiometabolic diseases to support our field-based operations in the New Jersey and New York regions. This role is critical in building scientific relationships, supporting payer discussions, and providing health economic insights to improve patient care. You will work cross-functionally with national and regional stakeholders in healthcare and be instrumental in strategic scientific communication.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and build relationships with KOLs, formulary decision-makers, and payer opinion leaders

  • Conduct scientific exchange on therapies related to cardiovascular and metabolic diseases

  • Develop expertise in diabetes and cardiovascular disease to engage HCPs effectively

  • Serve as a scientific point of contact for IDNs, ACOs, and P&T Committees

  • Present health outcome data to payors and executive decision-makers

  • Provide real-time insights to internal teams using CRM systems

  • Assist in medical affairs initiatives, including advisory boards and medical booths at conferences


Required Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (MD, PhD, DNP, or PharmD)

  • Minimum 5 years of field medical experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in diabetes, endocrinology, or cardiovascular therapy areas

  • Experience with health outcomes presentations to payers and C-suite executives preferred

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

  • Deep understanding of medical affairs operations, including regulatory guidance (PhRMA, OIG)

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and operate independently in a remote/field setting

  • Willingness to travel 40%–60% of the time
