Position Overview:
IQVIA is seeking a Cardiometabolic Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to support scientific engagement across cardiovascular and metabolic therapeutic areas. This field-based role is central to fostering medical relationships with KOLs, payer groups, and healthcare professionals, driving scientific exchange and supporting clinical education. In partnership with a leading client, the MSL will lead field-based medical strategies and support the dissemination of evidence-based data within the payer and provider landscape.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with national, regional, and local KOLs, payer leaders, and formulary decision-makers in cardiometabolic diseases

  • Provide scientific exchange and education on emerging therapies within CV/metabolics

  • Serve as the scientific point of contact for IDNs, ACOs, and P&T Committees

  • Capture and report medical insights and field interactions into the CRM system

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align educational needs with emerging clinical data

  • Support advisory boards, medical information services, and presence at scientific meetings

  • Maintain expertise in cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and the broader cardiometabolic spectrum


Required Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a scientific or health discipline (MD, PhD, DNP, PharmD)

  • 5+ years of field medical experience highly preferred

  • 2+ years of experience in diabetes, endocrinology, or cardiovascular diseases preferred

  • Strong ability to synthesize and communicate complex medical data

  • Demonstrated success in building relationships with medical experts and navigating scientific discussions

  • Proficient in scientific presentations, project management, and cross-functional teamwork

  • Knowledge of drug development, medical affairs compliance (PhRMA, OIG), and regulatory guidelines

  • Ability to work autonomously in a field setting and manage multiple projects
